Today we present you the new album by Roots Noir. The multi-instrumentalist and producer Brian Battaile calls the Pacific Northwest, SoCal to Anchorage Alaska and Vancouver BC Canada his home and describes his music as most similar to California/North American grown reggae acts such as Rebelution, Stick Figure, etc, but heavily influenced by Jamaican roots reggae and dub with some rock and funk flavors. Brian Battaile’s second album comes just one year after the debut album was released and like the first, is primarily a solo (from writing to mastering) roots reggae passion project with a few notable exceptions including the backing vocals, and a guitar solo.
